How to Receive Amazon Payouts in Pakistan

How to receive Amazon payouts in Pakistan: direct deposit, Amazon Currency Converter, approved payment service providers and the documents to align first.

Part of the Selling from Pakistan guide hub →

Short answer: Amazon pays your sales proceeds into the deposit method you add in Seller Central. A Pakistan-based seller usually chooses between three routes: a bank account in the marketplace's country (for example, a US business account held by your US LLC), a local bank account through Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers if your country and currency are supported, or an account with a payment service provider (PSP) that participates in Amazon's Payment Service Provider Program.

Which route fits depends on how your business is set up, what Seller Central offers for your account and what you can verify. This guide explains each route, what Amazon's own pages say, as of October 2026, and the records you need to line up first.

This is general information, not financial, tax or legal advice. Payment options, provider eligibility and rules change. Confirm the options shown in your own Seller Central account, and ask a qualified adviser about tax treatment in Pakistan and the US.

How Amazon payouts work

Every Amazon seller account has a deposit method: the account where Amazon sends your sales proceeds. You add and change it on the Deposit Methods page in Seller Central.

Amazon's registration guide sets two ground rules that matter here:

  • Whose name: "Select the name in which your bank account is held with your financial institution. This could be your name as the primary contact, or it could be the name of your business."
  • Location: asked whether you need a US bank account, Amazon answers: "No. You can use the Amazon Currency Converter to receive your sales proceeds in a bank account outside the US, converting to the relevant currency."

So you do not have to hold a US bank account to sell on Amazon.com. But whether a particular route works for a Pakistan-based seller is something to confirm in Seller Central, not assume.

The three payout routes at a glance

Route How it works Best suited to What to check first
Bank account in the marketplace's country Amazon deposits in that country's currency, e.g. USD into a US account Sellers with a US LLC and a US business bank account Account is in the LLC's exact legal name; you can operate it from Pakistan
Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers (ACCS) Amazon converts proceeds and deposits them in a local bank account Sellers whose country and currency are on Amazon's supported list Whether Pakistan and PKR appear in your Seller Central list today
Participating payment service provider Amazon pays into a receiving account at a PSP; you withdraw from the PSP Sellers who want to receive USD and then move funds onward The PSP is on Amazon's current participating list and serves Pakistan

Route 1: A bank account in the marketplace's country

If you sell on Amazon.com through a US LLC, a US business bank account in the LLC's name is the most direct route. Proceeds arrive in USD, the account holder matches the business on your seller account, and you can move funds onward as your bank allows.

The hard part is opening the account. US banks and fintech providers set their own rules for non-resident owners, and no one can promise approval. Expect to be asked for your formation documents, EIN letter and identity documents, with every name and address matching. If you are not at that stage yet, start with our guide on how to form a US LLC from Pakistan, then read ITIN vs EIN for non-US LLC owners to see which tax number you actually need. Route 2: Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers

Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers (ACCS) is Amazon's own conversion service. Amazon's program page describes three steps: log into Seller Central, add your local bank account on the Deposit Methods page, and receive automatic disbursements, with your sales proceeds converted into your local currency and deposited in your local bank account.

Amazon says ACCS lets sellers "convert and transfer funds for 20 Amazon stores and 20+ payout currencies," and that it uses "the exchange rate applied by our third-party service provider on the day the transfer to your bank account is initiated."

The Pakistan question: Amazon links to a list of supported countries, regions and currencies inside Seller Central. We could not confirm from Amazon's public pages, as of October 2026, whether Pakistani bank accounts in PKR are currently supported for seller disbursements. Check it yourself:

  1. Open Seller Central and go to the Deposit Methods page.
  2. Add a deposit method and look at the bank location countries offered.
  3. If Pakistan is listed, check the currency, any fees shown and the account details required.
  4. If it is not listed, use Route 1 or Route 3.

Before you rely on ACCS, compare its exchange rate and fees with your other options on a real payout amount.

Route 3: A participating payment service provider

Many international sellers receive Amazon proceeds through a PSP: a company that gives you a receiving account in the marketplace's currency, from which you can hold, convert or withdraw funds.

Amazon is strict about which providers it pays. In its Seller Forums guide to PSPs, an Amazon staff member states: "If you choose to use a PSP, it must be part of our Payment Service Provider Program." The same guide says approved PSPs can be found in the Selling Partner Appstore, and that PSPs complete security checks, including KYC verification, sanctions screening and anti-money-laundering checks, which may temporarily delay disbursements. Amazon's KDP help page on the same program lists participating providers including Payoneer, Wise and WorldFirst. Always confirm the current list in Seller Central before you choose.

For Pakistan specifically:

  • WorldFirst says it is "registered as an Amazon Payment Service Provider (PSP)" and publishes a guide for sellers in Pakistan and Bangladesh on linking an Amazon seller account to a matching currency account (page updated July 30, 2026).
  • Payoneer describes adding its local receiving account details as a deposit method in Seller Central, and says users can withdraw to a local bank account.

Each PSP sets its own fees, exchange rates, verification requirements and withdrawal rules. Read them carefully, and check how withdrawals to a Pakistani bank account work before you connect your seller account.

How to add a PSP as your deposit method (general steps):

  1. Open and fully verify your PSP account in the same name as your Amazon seller account.
  2. Find the receiving account details for the currency of the marketplace you sell on (for Amazon.com, USD).
  3. In Seller Central, open the Deposit Methods page and add a new deposit method.
  4. Choose the bank location country that matches the receiving account, not your home country, and enter the details exactly as the PSP shows them.
  5. Wait for the first disbursement and confirm it arrives before changing anything else.

Line up your records before you add a deposit method

Payout problems usually come from records that do not match. Before changing a deposit method, compare these:

Record Must match Why
Seller account legal name Bank or PSP account holder name Amazon asks whose name the account is held in
LLC name (if you have one) Articles of Organization, EIN letter, bank account Business accounts are verified against formation records
Address Seller account, bank or PSP profile, proof of address Address mismatches trigger extra checks
Identity documents The person verified on Amazon and on the PSP KYC checks compare the same person across providers

ECOMHUTSY's own guidance on payment setup is blunt about the risk: mismatches between your LLC and your bank account can delay payouts, trigger account reviews or even suspend selling privileges. Change one thing at a time, and keep screenshots of every setting you enter.

Common mistakes

  • Using a personal account for an LLC seller account. Keep the account holder consistent with the seller account.
  • Using a provider that is not on Amazon's list. Check the current participating PSPs in Seller Central first.
  • Choosing the wrong bank location country. With a PSP, it is usually the country of the receiving account, not Pakistan.
  • Forgetting records. Keep every disbursement report and PSP statement, and ask a Pakistan tax adviser how foreign receipts should be reported.

Where ECOMHUTSY fits

ECOMHUTSY is headquartered in Multan, Pakistan, with branches across the country and offices in Dubai and Westland, MI. Since 2016, we have worked with sellers in 50+ countries on the setup behind marketplace selling: US LLC formation, EIN, banking readiness, seller accounts and payouts.

Our payout method setup service covers payout connections for Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Temu and Etsy, alongside document alignment and troubleshooting of payment errors. We do not decide whether a bank, PSP or marketplace approves you; we help you apply with records that are complete and consistent. If you plan to sell on more than one marketplace, our guides on selling on Walmart from Pakistan and the US LLC for non-US Amazon sellers cover the wider setup.

Frequently asked questions

Can I receive Amazon payouts directly into a Pakistani bank account?

Only if Seller Central offers Pakistan as a supported location for your account, for example through Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers. We could not confirm this from Amazon's public pages as of October 2026, so check the Deposit Methods page in your own account.

Do I need a US bank account to sell on Amazon.com from Pakistan?

Amazon's registration guide says no: you can use Amazon Currency Converter to receive proceeds in a bank account outside the US, where your country and currency are supported. Many sellers also use a participating PSP or a US business account held by their LLC.

Which payment service providers can I use with Amazon?

Only providers in Amazon's Payment Service Provider Program. Amazon points sellers to the Selling Partner Appstore for the current list. Amazon's KDP help page lists providers including Payoneer, Wise and WorldFirst, but confirm the seller list in Seller Central.

Why was my Amazon disbursement delayed after changing my deposit method?

Changes can trigger verification, and Amazon notes that PSP security checks, such as KYC and sanctions screening, may temporarily delay disbursements. Mismatched names or addresses can also cause delays.

Does the bank account have to be in my name?

Amazon says the account can be held in your name as the primary contact or in your business's name. Keep it consistent with the seller account and your formation documents.
